A Note About Our Current Availability

If you've found your way to this page, you're likely carrying a lot right now, and we want to be honest with you about where things stand.

Our Project Home funds are fully committed, and we are unable to provide new financial assistance until October, when funding renews. Our shelter program is also temporarily closed while we complete renovations to better serve the families who come through our doors.

We know this is not the answer you were hoping for, and we're sorry. Please know that the need you're facing is real and it matters to us. While our own resources are limited for now, we don't want to leave you without a next step. We encourage you to dial 211, where a trained specialist can connect you with assistance in our area. And you are always welcome to call us as well — we'll help however we can.

Project Home

If you are seeking Project Home assistance, please have a current eviction notice ready. We know housing instability is a pressing need in our community, and we are actively working to expand our capacity to serve more families.

Project Home is our rent and mortgage assistance program.

This program is designed to help families going through crisis situations and keep them housed.

Through this program, our Case Manager works to engage the families in solution-oriented discussions and help them maintain housing stability.

To be eligible for this program, the following must be true:

You must have legal custody of a child in the home and be listed on the lease.
You must live in Bradley or Polk Counties
You must have an eviction notice or notice to pay
You must have a documented income source

FPBC began as a shelter for families with a rotational model. When the host churches closed their doors due to the pandemic, FPBC had to think fast in order to continue to serve families.

Now FPBC works with one family at a time and provides shelter through a static site model. We continue to host volunteers weekly asking for home-cooked meals, supplies, and a warm smile.
